These are our prohibited items: 

• No guns, knives, weapons, pepper spray, projectiles of any kind, spikes of any kind, or any other item that could be used to inflict harm
• Replicas of any type of weapon are NOT permitted
• No drugs or drug paraphernalia, illegal substances of any kind
• No outside food or drinks
• No personal video cameras, Go-Pros, selfie sticks, drones, masks or laser pointers
• No professional audio, video, or audio recording equipment – (including detachable lenses, tripods, zooms or commercial use rigs) without a photo pass
• No unsealed liquids or gels of any kind
• No jewelry or clothing that could inflict harm, including spikes of any kind
• No posters, banners, signs, etc. that will obstruct another fan's view

**Please note that the list of prohibited items is subject to change. The venue reserves the right to make any necessary adjustments to these protocols to ensure the safety of the tour, artist, and guests.

Bags up to 12” x 6” x 12” are allowed in the venue. All bags will be searched prior to entry. Bags that are not clear will be subject to additional search.

Yes! If you attended a show at our venue and lost something during your visit, please visit the link below to file a claim. If the item was turned into our lost & found, a venue member will reach out with information on how to obtain your item(s).

Valet service is available at the venue complex. Please note that the valet service is run by the City of Houston and not the venue. 

Additionally, street parking is free after 6pm (make sure to follow city parking/traffic signage) and paid underground parking is available in the city's Theatre District Parking. 

Sweet! You can pick up your tickets at the box office on night of show by presenting a valid ID. Our box office is located outside the main music hall entrance and is open two (2) hours prior to set door time.

We are a cashless venue! We accept debit, credit, and/or tap (Apple Pay, Google Pay). If you only have cash, we can help you out. Stop by our Cash to Card booth to convert your cash into a card, dollar for dollar, without any service fees! 

There is a strict no re-entry policy. Make sure you bring everything you need, if you leave at any point during the event, you will not be allowed back in. 

No smoking is allowed inside the venue. There are exterior smoking areas available for those who do smoke.

40 Below is Bayou Music Center's exclusive VIP Lounge. This upgrade gets you access to some great perks including a private lounge with a private entrance into the venue, private restrooms and an expanded selection of spirits at the VIP Bar with little to no wait times. 40 Below opens before the rest of the venue and stays open after the concert!

Professional cameras and/or cameras will detachable lenses are NOT allowed without a valid media pass. Personal point-and-shoot cameras or cellphones are OK.
